Workplace Charging Scheme

Eligible businesses, charities and public-sector organisations can receive support for up to 75% of purchase and installation costs, capped at £500 per socket.

Depot Charging Scheme

The first 2026/27 window funded 70% of eligible chargepoint and civil costs up to £1 million. The next window has been announced, with its terms still to be confirmed.

Do not treat the maximum grant as an automatic discount.

Scheme eligibility, eligible expenditure, installation dates and application steps matter. For the Workplace Charging Scheme and education scheme, the percentage cap can reduce the award below the headline per-socket maximum.
